IZITAXI provides baby, infant, child and booster car seats for newborns up to age 12: for a $10 per seat on cars; saloon cars can’t carry our seats, though you may bring your own on any vehicle.
1.Tell us when you book
Select the seat option or add your child’s age and weight in the notes — by web, phone or WhatsApp. Please request in advance, as seats aren’t carried on every vehicle.
2. We fit the correct seat
We assign a vehicle with the right ZNZ-approved seat (and a larger MPV or 8-seater if you need several seats plus luggage).
3.Driver installs, you check the harness.
Your ZARTSA (ZANZIBAR ROAD TRANSPORT AND SAFETY AUTHORITY) -checked driver is trained to install the seat correctly. For safety, the parent or guardian fastens and checks the child in.
A child seat is only as good as its condition. Every seat is cleaned and sanitised after use, so your little one always travels in a fresh, hygienic seat.

Once you book your ride with IZITaxi, you will receive a confirmation message or email with your driver and car details, so you can ensure a smooth pickup.
Yes, we offer baby seats (0-12 months), child seats (1-4 years), and booster seats (4-7 years) upon request. Please select the required seat type during booking. There's a small additional fee of USD 10 per seat.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% fee. No-shows are charged the full fare.
